Don't you just love it when you, just by accident, find the most precious and well hidden knitting and crochet gems and jewels? And I love it even more when I share these treasures with my fiber friends and I can say: Lookie what I found! Above picture is some beautiful pottery. I was just so taken by it without even knowing why. At the counter, the owner of the shop asked me: "Did you notice that the artist uses doilies to make these?" In which Aretha is making me scream and dance!

This morning I woke up with a slight headache (0y, knitnight at Close Knit's sure gets rowdy at times), jumped into the shower, put up some fine soulful Aretha Franklin and screamed and danced to her "don't play that song for me". Then shot some pics of the yarn I got in Colorado, poured me a cup of espresso with lotsa sugar and got ready for today's blog entry". How does one describe Beauty?

She stopped me in my tracks this tiny little pansy yet grand and dramatically beautiful. She did not even whisper to get my attention, nor did she purposely radiate her beauty. But I spotted her. She was well hidden amongst all the other mediocre and loud ones and I chose her to take home with me. The rich deep dark red with almost black streeks mesmerized me...
