Keeping my composure

I am trying really really hard not to go bonkers. Breathe in...breathe out. Stay focused, trust that everything is going to be fine.

I am going to be in a private craft event this Sunday, and on December 11th and 12th I am going to be in a bigger Craft Event in NYC. I will be showing off my stuff and hopefully selling them too.

That's a lot of fun and I am so happy with these hook ups, but it also means that I've got to do a lot of production knitting! Believe you me, production knitting is rather stressful...

No whining allowed around here! If you take on a craft event, you've got to woman up, have your materials ready and knit like there's no tomorrow.

I am going to make an abundance of fingerless gloves with all kinds of colorful yarn and am planning to have a wonderful display.

It will also be great to make some connections with other artists during those events, oooh I can't wait!

Needless to say, dear reader, I have been working long hours over the past few days. Waking up before 6 am and just ploughing through non-stop until it is time to go to bed. It is exhausting but like I said: no whining!

Other stuff

Apart from the production knitting, I also have been doing: free-lance knitting, data entry, and pattern writing.

I will try to keep on writing here on the website too, but if my posts are a bit shorter than usual, you know how come.

Of course, when the craft events are happening, you will be right there with me. I will be making lots of pictures so that you all can see what I've been working on. And if you have any questions on how to do a craft event (what to knit, pricing, display), please ASK!!! I am willing to share my experiences with you. And I don't hoard information, I share with you. All you have to do is ASK. Okay?

And now I've got to go back to work... so if you all will excuse me?

Thanks for reading and until the next entry!

good luck too

You are Amazing!

Wish I was going to that craft event! People will be mesmerized by your yummy yarn delights! Good luck!

Yummy yarn delights

I like that "yummy yarn delights". As if it were a box of chocolate or a basket full of colorful fruit. You just want to reach out and grab it!

Good luck and don't forget to

Good luck and don't forget to take care of yourself. I'm sure you'll be a big hit in NYC!

Taking care of oneself

Susan, taking care of myslef is one of the first things that goes out of the window in situations like this! I forget to eat and drink. Who in the world forgets that???

Thanks for the reminder!
