Being a good girl at Rhinebeck

Rhinebeck Wool Festival 2010

I have been a very very good girl at Rhinebeck... Not one skein of yarn I took home. It took a lot of strength though... but I pulled through!

It was my very first time at Rhinebeck and it was fantastic. I especially liked seeing the sheep and touching their raw fleece:

And the artisan yarn that were offered was STUNNING:

An explosion of colors and fibers and beautiful knitted items everywhere!

People wearing their knitted/crochet/felted/weaving items was such a delight to see. If only I had the guts to walk over and ask their permission to take a photo... I will overcome that fear next year! Really, that was such a wonderful sight to see...

I also spotted Ysolda Teague, Kate Gagnon Osborn and shook Shannon Okey's hand. I was so happy about that, see Shannon Okey has done a lot for the knitting community and I am very thankful for her. I bought her book: Knitgrrl Guide to Professional Knitwear Design. A must have for anybody who wants to make it as a knitwear designer in the knitting/crochet industry!

Thanks for all the great

Thanks for all the great photos. How did you ever show so much restraint? I'm impressed with your self control.
